Founding of CALORSTAT by Edgar B. FRANK
, an American manufacturer, for the production of thermostats and bellows for use in automotive cooling systems under licence from ROBERTSHAW FULTON (USA).
 
 
 1952
Creation of VERNET
, a development of the group BOUSSAC (BENDIX division) for the use of the American patent of Sergius VERNET (Yellow Springs, Ohio, USA) for the expansion of wax in the regulation of temperature in washing machines.
 
 
 1962
Acquisition of VERNET by CALORSTAT
, principal supplier of thermostats to French and European industry. Relocation from Bagnolet to Vincennes, near Paris.

1969
Acquisition of DECA by CALORSTAT
, for integration of its stamping capacity.

Relocation of VERNET
in Ollainville, near Arpajon (Essonne, France) close to the Headquarters of CALORSTAT.
 
 
 1972
VERNET creates its American subsidiary CALTHERM
(Glen Ellyn, near Chicago, Illinois, USA) for the distribution of diesel thermostats in the North American market.
 
 
 1976
CALTHERM starts manufacture of heavy duty thermostats in Columbus
(Indiana, USA), headquarters of CUMMINS Engines.
 
 
 1980
Acquisition of CALTHERM
by the American Holding company MAGNUM Corporation (Headquartered near Detroit, Michigan).

Restructuring of the CALORSTAT Group.

Acquisition of VERNET by MAGNUM Corporation.

Creation by CALTHERM (USA) of its Indian subsidiary CALTHERM INDIA

(Indre-et-Loire, France), accommodating since 1999 the growth of Sanitary & Heating businesses.

Creation of Aftermarket business

Creation of BIMANVER ARGENTINA S.A.
(Los Toldos, Buenos Aires, Argentina) ), subsidiary of VERNET and ANGLI for the manufacture of thermal switches.

First extension of the Cinq-Mars-la-Pile facility
(addition of 1.200 m²) dedicated to manufacture of Sanitary & Heating products.

Second extension of the Cinq-Mars-la-Pile facility
(addition of a further 1.200 m²) to accommodate further growth of the Sanitary & Heating business.

Years of sustained growth in the Sanitary & Heating sector at Cinq-Mars-la-Pile
