The company’s manufacturing facilities are centered around 2 sites :
OLLAINVILLE (Essonne, FRANCE) : situated on land for which VERNET is the sole tenant, the site at Olllainville comprises 5 buildings totalling 8.000 square meters. This site is concerned with design and development of all VERNET products as well as most of element manufacture.
CINQ-MARS-LA-PILE (Indre-et-Loire, FRANCE) : a site covering some 3.500 square meters and dedicated to the production of thermostatic cartridges, elements, thermal switches. The site is also the centre of distribution for aftermarket items and logistics.
The VERNET facilities are organised in such a way to provide the best response to the demands of both the market and our customers.
There are three distinct departments : | | | | |
| |  Engine Department
In this department, products are assembled for Automotive and Commercial Vehicle OEM customers (thermostats, thermal switches and manifold assemblies). The department is organised into production cells with a high degree of autonomy and automation.
These cells are comprised of special machinery designed specifically for each VERNET product. | | | | |
| |  Sanitary & Heating Department
Thermostatic elements for the Sanitary & Heating market and thermostatic cartridges are assembled in this department.
Here also, there is a large degree of automation. | | | | |
| |  Production is centered around specialized assembly machines and a facility for the mixing and blending of wax compounds and copper powder. | | | | |
| |  Stamping Department
This department produces parts used in the assembly of thermostats and thermostatic elements and also sub-contracts for large orders to outside customers.
It is particularly well-equipped for the production of heavy duty parts. | | | | |
| |  The total number of machines includes 15 transfer presses and about ten automatic cutting presses of 30 to 250 tons. | | | | |
