| | The VERNET electrothermal actuator is a flat diaphragm element which reacts to changes in temperature and transforms calorific energy into mechanical energy.
Heated by means of a 24V, 110V or 230V P.T.C. element (positive temperature coefficient), the linear thermal motor can be operated by remote control with time delay.
On activation, the piston begins to move.
Its initial position is obtained by means of a return spring.
It is used in a multitude of areas due to its many attractive advantages :
reduced size
low maintenance
silent running
low cost
powerful exerted force
time delay (the response time of just a few minutes means that the valve can be opened or closed gradually, avoiding any waterhammer effect) | | | | |
| | Uses
Remote control of mechanical devices :
operation of valves
valves for under floor heating
controlled thermostatic taps
proportional valves
…
