The Behr Thermot-tronik Group is currently undergoing a restructuring process. In the future, the Company will refocus on its core business, the thermostatic regulation for automotive and industrial applications.
This is why the sanitary and heating activity has been sold to Vernet in France on July 1st of 2009.
The worldwide positions acquired by these two Companies complete each other strongly and in a remarkable way, either from the activity or the geographical area standpoint. Behr, one of the major market players in sanitary, has gained considerable market share in the heating sector in Europe. Vernet, for its part, has kept its expansion trend in particular in the sanitary world in Europe and in the US.
The culture and the philosophy of both Companies have fostered this rapprochement: Behr and Vernet are driven by the same will of innovation, of quality and the same desire to achieve Customer satisfaction. Similarly, the manufacturing processes are highly automated and the two Companies focus on the preservation of the environment.
Vernet is the worldwide leader of thermostatic elements, with more than 12 million elements produced each year for sanitary and heating applications. Vernet has a strong R&D Department of more than 30 engineers that is available for current and future developments.
Vernet looks with bright optimism to the future because our markets will continue to grow thanks to the development of renewable energies, to the trend to reduce energy consumption and to environmental protection initiatives. Our goal is to reap with you the profit of these assets.
